Zusammenfassung

VolkerWessels UK is seeking a Building Services Engineer to lead M&E delivery from tender through to handover on exciting construction projects. You will work alongside clients, designers and project teams to bring complex developments to life while driving quality, innovation and performance.

The role requires membership of a recognised body and strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical services, with experience in planning, costing and contracts.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a recognised professional body membership (CIBSE, CIPHE, IEE, IET, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of construction and building services; experience with main contractors preferred.
• Pro-active attitude and strong problem-solving approach.
• Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical services.
• Ability to write work package plans and method statements clearly.
• Ability to provide programming and scheduling advice.
• Understanding of building services costs and commercial drivers.
• Awareness of contracts such as JCT and NEC.

Join us as a Building Services Engineer and take the lead on delivering M&E services from tender through to handover on exciting construction projects. Working alongside clients, designers and project teams, you'll play a key role in bringing complex developments to life while driving quality, innovation and performance.

• Membership of Recognised Body such as CIBSE, CIPHE, IEE, IET, etc…
• Have an in depth knowledge of the construction industry in general the building services industry in particular and preferably worked for a main contractor
• Pro-active/can do attitude
• Good specific services knowledge either electrically and mechanically.
• Reasonable design knowledge
• Able to write work package plans and other method statements / reports, clearly and concisely
• Ability to provide programming advice
• Understanding / appreciation of building services costs
• Awareness of a range of different contracts including JCT and NEC
