You will support M&E delivery, coordinate electrical services, and work within a fast‑paced project team reporting to the Building Services Manager.

The role suits an Assistant Building Services/Project Engineer aiming to progress, with relevant electrical qualifications and experience in construction projects.

Qualifikationen

• Strong background in commercial/industrial electrical installation.
• 5–7 years post‑qualification electrician experience.
• Holding City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition) certification.
• Certifications 2361/2360/2365 variants are preferred.
• Experience coordinating electrical services on construction projects.
• 2391 testing/certification is advantageous.
• 2400 design/erection/verification is advantageous.
• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

We are seeking a Building Services Engineer with a strong electrical installation background to join our project team on a major defence–sector project in Lakenheath, encompassing civil engineering, building and M&E works.

Reporting to the Building Services Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of M&E services through all phases of the project.

This position would suit a current Assistant Building Services Engineer, Assistant Project Engineer or Project Engineer looking to take the next step in their career, with the ability to quickly become an effective member of a fast–paced project delivery team.

About you

• A strong background in commercial and/or industrial electrical installation, any mechanical experience would also be an advantage.
• A minimum of 5–7 years' post–qualification experience as an electrician.
• City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
• City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2, City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2, or City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 & 3 Diploma.
• Experience coordinating and delivering electrical services within construction projects.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection, Testing & Certification (advantageous but not essential)
• City & Guilds 2400 Design, Erection & Verification (advantageous but not essential).
• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience working for a main contractor would also be an advantage.
