Job summary

VolkerWessels UK in London seeks a Building Services Engineer to lead the delivery of M&E services from tender through handover on exciting construction projects. You'll work with clients, designers and project teams to bring complex developments to life, driving quality, innovation and performance across all stages of delivery.

Membership of recognised bodies and experience in contracting environments are preferred.

Qualifications

• Membership of recognised bodies such as CIBSE, CIPHE, IEE or IET.
• In-depth knowledge of the building services industry and construction sector.
• Experience with main contractors preferred.
• Ability to write work package plans and method statements clearly.
• Understanding of building services costs and contract types (JCT/NEC).

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of M&E services from tender through handover on construction projects.
• Collaborate with clients, designers and project teams to realise complex developments.
• Drive quality, innovation and performance across project delivery.

Join us as a Building Services Engineer and take the lead on delivering M&E services from tender through to handover on exciting construction projects.

Working alongside clients, designers and project teams, you'll play a key role in bringing complex developments to life while driving quality, innovation and performance.

About you

• Membership of Recognised Body such as CIBSE, CIPHE, IEE, IET, etc…
• Have an in depth knowledge of the construction industry in general the building services industry in particular and preferably worked for a main contractor
• Good specific services knowledge either electrically and mechanically.
• Able to write work package plans and other method statements / reports, clearly and concisely
• Ability to provide programming advice
• Understanding / appreciation of building services costs
• Awareness of a range of different contracts including JCT and NEC
