Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers seeks a Building Physics Designer to develop energy modelling and sustainability-led design for UK projects in collaboration with M&E engineers and wider disciplines. The role focuses on advancing passive design, Part L compliance, and carbon reduction across varied schemes.

You will contribute through energy modelling, reporting, and liaison with authorities and contractors, delivering high-quality, innovative building physics solutions.

Qualifications

• Energy modelling and building simulation.
• Experience with Part L compliance, CIBSE TM59/52 & AD O, EPCs, CIBSE TM54 Operational Energy, SAP Assessments.
• Early design modelling with passive design measures; liaison with design team, authorities and contractors.
• Report writing and technical documentation.
