Job summary

Purosearch is recruiting a Building Physics Consultant at Senior or Consultant level for a Leeds-based, hybrid role (3 days in the office). You will deliver building physics assessments across sports and leisure, commercial offices, healthcare and laboratory sectors, and take ownership of projects.

You will work with clients, develop relationships, and use industry-standard modelling tools such as IES and OneClick.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a Building Physics consultancy environment.
• Strong client-facing experience and the confidence to communicate with clients and project teams.
• Experience with IES and/or OneClick.
• Experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) would be a strong advantage.
• NDEA Level 5 qualification would be desirable.
• OCDEA qualification would also be beneficial.
• The ability to manage projects effectively and work with minimal supervision.
• A proactive, practical approach — someone who sees what needs doing and gets on with it.

They're looking for someone who canhit the ground running, take ownership of projects and confidently deliver without extensive training or hand-holding.

The Role

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of projects, providing building physics expertise and supporting the successful delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
