Huws Gray Sunderland is seeking a Sales Person to join our team. You will build connections with customers in-branch and on-site, tailor quotes and follow up enquiries, and help deliver a smooth shopping experience with up-to-date product knowledge.

You’ll bring customer service experience; sales or building materials knowledge is a bonus, with full training provided to support your growth in the role. Flexible working options may be discussed at interview stage.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Sales experience or knowledge of building materials would be a bonus but is not essential.
• Willing to learn; training and support provided to grow in the role.

Responsibilities

• Building connections with customers in person, over the phone, and in branch or yard.
• Creating tailored solutions by preparing quotes, following up on enquiries, and developing leads.
• Keeping admin running smoothly and efficiently.
• Offering guidance with up-to-date product knowledge to help customers find the best materials.
• Enhancing the shopping experience with well-stocked, inviting displays.
• Collaborating across the branch with colleagues, including yard and counter sales.
