Langworthy Cornerstone Association Ltd in Salford is seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, safety, maintenance and the accommodation of staff, volunteers and tenants.

You will work with the CEO and Service Delivery Manager to ensure compliance, strong facilities management and effective room hire, asset records and risk management for a busy community centre.

Formación

• Experience in facilities, premises, building or operational management.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety, fire safety and building compliance.
• Experience coordinating repairs, maintenance and external contractors.
• Strong organisational skills and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve operational challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional approach.
• Commitment to equality and the values of a community-focused charity.
• IOSH, NEBOSH or fire safety training preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily premises operations and facilities maintained to high standards.
• Maintain compliance records, inspections, fire safety procedures and risk reporting.
• Coordinate repairs, servicing, inspections and contractors.
• Oversee building access, visitor management, security procedures and emergency readiness.
• Support room hire operations and liaise with tenants and partners.
• Maintain building and equipment records, asset registers and schedules.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen systems and reduce risks.
