Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to oversee a site, including swimming pools, mechanical plant, HVAC systems and grounds. An electrical qualification and Building Management knowledge are essential, with experience in compliance tasks such as emergency lighting, PAT and water hygiene.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, team leadership, and driving continuous improvement within a large, industrial gym environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an electrical qualification (to 17th edition or equivalent) and have good knowledge of Building Management systems.
• Experience with emergency lighting testing, PAT, water hygiene and other compliance areas in a large industrial unit.
• Technical electrical Level 3 qualification and experience within the relevant sector.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the whole site from building shell to surrounding grounds.
• Maintain swimming pools, mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation.
• Ensure queries are dealt with securely using an electronic CAFM system.
• Inspire the team to strive for constant improvement and lead by example.
• Operate an effective preventative maintenance programme using hands-on skills.
