Job summary

Nuffield Health in Twickenham is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to maintain the club's facilities, from the building shell to the grounds, and to manage plant systems. The role requires an electrical Level 3 qualification and experience with building management systems, emergency lighting testing, PAT, and water hygiene in a large site.

You will lead by example, drive a proactive maintenance programme, and help develop the team, with a comprehensive benefits package including gym

Qualifications

• Electrical Level 3 qualification required (City & Guilds or BTEC equivalent).
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and compliance in large sites.
• Experience in emergency lighting testing, PAT, water hygiene and related checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the whole site from building shell to surrounding grounds.
• Maintain swimming pools, mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation.
• Resolve queries and issues using an electronic CAFM system.
• Lead by example to drive continuous improvement within the team.
• Apply hands-on technical skills to operate a preventative maintenance programme.
• Support skill development of others and strengthen the team.

Building Maintenance Technician

As a Building Maintenance Technician at our club , you'll hold an electrical qualification (to 17th edition or equivalent) and a good knowledge of Building Management systems. You also have experience of emergency lighting testing, PAT, water hygiene and other compliance areas in a large industrial unit.

As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Be responsible for the whole site - from the building shell to surrounding grounds
• Maintain everything from our swimming pools to our mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation
• Ensure all queries and issues are dealt with securely and effectively, using an electronic CAFM system
• Inspire the team to strive for constant improvement, thanks to the way you lead by example
• Use your hand-on experience and technical skills to operate an effective preventative maintenance programme
• Improve your own skills and those of others to help build the strongest possible team around you

Essential requirement:

A technical electrical Level 3 qualification of City & Guilds or BTEC equivalent and experience within the relevant sector.
