Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for our Bristol Clifton Fitness and Wellbeing Centre. You’ll be responsible for the whole site, from the building shell to surrounding grounds, maintaining pools, mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation, and ensuring issues are handled efficiently via CAFM.

You must have an electrical qualification (17th edition or equivalent) and experience in emergency lighting testing, PAT, water hygiene and other compliance

Qualifications

• Must hold electrical qualification to 17th edition or equivalent.
• Experience with emergency lighting testing, PAT, water hygiene, and compliance in large facilities.
• Experience in maintenance across building services and site management.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the whole site – from the building shell to surrounding grounds
• Maintain swimming pools to mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation
• Ensure queries and issues are dealt with securely and effectively using CAFM
• Inspire the team to strive for constant improvement and lead by example
• Lead hands-on maintenance and implement an effective preventive maintenance programme
• Develop skills of others to build a strong maintenance team
