Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for our Bristol Clifton Fitness and Wellbeing Centre. You will own electrical maintenance across the site, ensure building management systems operate reliably and manage preventative maintenance in a large industrial environment.

The role requires an electrical qualification (17th edition or equivalent), hands-on experience with PAT testing, water hygiene and compliance tasks, and a leadership mindset to support a capable team.

Qualifications

As a Building Maintenance Technician you’ll hold an electrical qualification (to 17th edition or equivalent) and a good knowledge of Building Management systems.
You also have experience of emergency lighting testing, PAT, water hygiene and other compliance areas in a large industrial unit.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for the whole site - from the building shell to surrounding grounds
Maintain everything from swimming pools to mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating and ventilation
Ensure queries and issues are dealt with securely using an electronic CAFM system
Inspire the team to strive for constant improvement through leadership by example
Use hands-on skills to operate an effective preventative maintenance programme
Develop skills of yourself and others to strengthen the team around you
