The Cumbria County Council is seeking a Level 2A Building Inspector for its Building Control team in Workington. The role is permanent, full-time (37 hours/week) with a salary of £38,220 to £39,152 per annum.

Based at Allerdale House, Workington, you will assess building plans and carry out site inspections to ensure regulatory compliance. There is a clear progression pathway to Stage 4, subject to achieving required qualifications and Building Safety Regulator registration.

Responsibilities

• Assess building plans and conduct site inspections.
• Provide expert advice to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and applicable legislation.
