Job summary

Ribble Valley Borough Council in Clitheroe is looking for a Building Control Surveyor to join our Building Control Team. You will be registered with the Building Safety Regulator as a Class 2a (minimum) Building Inspector and hold a related degree with membership of an appropriate Institute (RICS or CABE).

Prospective candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Building Control and a full driving licence with access to a vehicle for work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Building Control section.
• Registered with Building Safety Regulator as Class 2a Building Inspector.
• Relevant degree and professional Institute membership (RICS or CABE).
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new buildings, alterations, installations and extensions meet regulatory standards.
