Huws Gray Limited is seeking a Sales Person at our South East England branch to build strong customer relationships and drive sales of building materials. You will advise customers, prepare quotes, and work with the team to ensure the right products are available and delivered smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a builders' merchant or a sales-focused role, with knowledge of building materials.
• Strong time management, organisation and clear communication skills.
• Great listener with customer-focused approach and eagerness to help.

Responsibilities

• Building connections with customers in person or by phone, offering confident advice.
• Creating tailored quotes, following up enquiries, and turning leads into opportunities.
• Handling day-to-day admin and keeping branch operations on track.
• Offering guidance on products using up-to-date knowledge for customer projects.
• Keeping displays tidy and well stocked to aid quick product selection.
• Collaborating with the branch team (yard and counter) to ensure correct materials are supplied.
