Job summary

Huws Gray Group in Highgate is seeking a Sales Person with knowledge of building materials to join our branch. You will build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, create tailored quotes, follow up enquiries and turn leads into opportunities, while helping the team drive sales and profitability.

You’ll help customers choose the right products, keep displays tidy and stock levels high, and support the yard and counter.

Qualifications

• Experience in a builders’ merchant or a sales-focused role with knowledge of building materials

Responsibilities

• Building connections with customers in person or by phone and giving confident advice
• Creating tailored quotes and following up enquiries to turn leads into opportunities
• Handling day-to-day admin and keeping operations on track
• Guiding customers to choose the right products based on up-to-date knowledge
• Maintaining tidy, well-stocked displays and an easy shopping experience for customers
• Collaborating with the branch team across yard and counter to ensure customers get the right materials first time
