Zusammenfassung

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join the Finance team. The role supports delivery of high‑quality financial information and advice, working with budget holders and senior managers to contribute to planning and governance.

The post is based at Dykebar Hospital with normal Monday–Friday hours. The department offers development opportunities, NHS pension, and employee benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or equivalent in accountancy/finance discipline.
• Experience in a finance environment, ideally large/complex.
• Knowledge of management accounting, financial reporting and budgets.
• Advanced IT skills, especially Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret financial data and present findings.

Aufgaben

• Prepare annual budgets and financial plans for multiple service areas.
• Produce monthly financial reports, analyse variances and advise budget holders.
• Forecast financial performance and monitor budgets against targets.
• Prepare income reconciliations and monitor funding streams.
