Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join the Finance team in Argyll and Bute HSCP, with base in Helensburgh or Lochgilphead and a hybrid working option.

You will assist in delivering a professional management accounting service across multiple services, supporting monthly reporting, costings, analysis and budget planning, while collaborating with senior colleagues to add value and develop transferable finance skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified to HNC level or equivalent public sector experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Teamwork ethos with planning and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel between service locations and hold a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of a professional management accounting service across services.
• Support monthly reporting, costings, analysis and budget planning.
• Work with Senior Management Accountants and wider Finance team.
• Travel between Argyll and Bute Locality locations as required.
