Job summary

Catering in Farnworth is seeking an experienced loader operator to join our on-site team. You will operate a bucket loader/wheel loader safely, load materials, and work with other site staff to move goods around the yard.

This permanent role offers Monday–Thursday 7am–4pm and Friday 7am–3:30pm with pay at £15 per hour. Applicants should have loader experience, strong safety awareness, and a current driving licence; plant tickets are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a bucket loader or wheel loader.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and able to work independently and be punctual.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bucket loader/wheel loader safely and efficiently.
• Load and move materials around the site.
• Carry out daily pre-start inspections and report defects or issues.
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Carry out routine checks, basic maintenance, and cleaning of the machine.
• Complete required paperwork and site records.
