Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting enthusiastic BSL Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Support Workers to assist deaf and hearing-impaired learners across North London colleges. You will provide one-to-one and classroom support, helping students access lessons and assessments using British Sign Language.

Qualifications

• Recognised BSL Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.
• Experience supporting learners or adults in education, SEND or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, supportive and encouraging approach.
• Enhanced DBS in Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and classroom support for deaf and hearing-impaired learners.
• Communicate confidently using British Sign Language.
• Help students access lessons, assessments and college activities.
• Work closely with lecturers and learning support teams.
• Encourage independence, confidence and active participation.
• Create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
