Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time BSL Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in Heaton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with British Sign Language skills who is passionate about supporting Deaf learners and pupils with hearing impairments.
Working closely with teachers and specialist staff, you'll help learners communicate confidently, access the curriculum and take an active part in school life. Your support will help create an inclusive environment where pupils feel understood, valued and able to achieve.

You’ll have a recognised BSL qualification or strong practical experience using British Sign Language. You’ll understand the importance of clear communication and be committed to supporting learners respectfully and inclusively.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
