Protocol Education are seeking a BSL/Makaton Teaching Assistant to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students in a specialist LS17 setting. You will use BSL or Makaton to help pupils access lessons and express themselves, supporting 1:1, small groups, or whole-class activities.
The role requires experience with BSL or Makaton, a patient, positive approach, and excellent communication. SEND experience is a bonus, and ongoing training is provided to help you grow in this specialist environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
