Intact Insurance, based in Birmingham or Bristol, is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead broker strategies and a trading underwriter team. You will drive growth, profitability, retention and portfolio quality while engaging brokers with a compelling value proposition.

The role requires strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration to deliver underwriting excellence. You will shape performance through data-driven decision making, ensure policy compliance, and foster continuous improvement

Formación

• Extensive experience in Commercial Lines underwriting and broker trading.
• Proven ability to deliver P&L outcomes via broker engagement and portfolio management.
• Strong leadership experience; capable of building high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, influence, and data-driven decision making.

Responsabilidades

• Developing and executing broker strategies and business plans to drive growth and portfolio performance.
• Leading broker engagement to build market relationships and deliver compelling propositions.
• Driving team engagement, capability development and performance management.
• Ensuring compliance with policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Resolving complex trading and underwriting issues and escalating strategic matters appropriately.
• Influencing stakeholders with commercial insight and data-driven decisions.
• Maintaining operating rhythm across Regions and sharing insights with peers.
