Fintelligent Search Ltd in Bolton is seeking an experienced Broker Claims Handler to manage a varied portfolio of third-party motor claims, with ownership of investigations, negotiations and settlement decisions. You will work within a regulated insurance environment, developing liability and credit hire expertise while liaising with insurers, solicitors, claimants and other stakeholders.

A salary of £30,000-£35,000 DOE plus bonus, a contributory pension, and dedicated professional development

Formación

• At least two years' motor claims experience, ideally within third-party claims.
• Strong knowledge of liability assessment, negotiation and the motor claims lifecycle.
• Exposure to credit hire, disputed claims or more technical motor claims would be highly beneficial.
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to deal professionally with a range of stakeholders.
• A methodical approach, strong attention to detail and the confidence to make sound decisions.
• Previous experience working within a regulated insurance environment.

Responsabilidades

• Managing a varied caseload of third-party motor claims from initial notification through to settlement.
• Handling associated property damage, liability and disputed claim matters.
• Investigating claims thoroughly and making clear, evidence-based liability decisions.
• Managing credit hire cases, including validation, negotiation and cost-control activity.
• Liaising professionally with insurers, solicitors, claimants and other external stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate claim records and ensuring activity is completed in line with regulatory and company procedures.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues while independently managing priorities and deadlines.

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 DOE + bonus

Are you an experienced Claims Handler looking to take on more technical, varied work? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, regulated insurance business where you will manage your own portfolio of third-party motor claims, build deeper expertise in liability and credit hire, and develop your career within a supportive team.

You will have genuine ownership of your caseload, with exposure to more complex and higher-value claims. This is not simply a volume-driven role, your investigations, negotiations and decisions will directly influence claim outcomes.

What you'll be doing as Broker Claims Handler:
