Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Bristol is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a successful main contractor delivering refurbishment and education projects across the region.

You will manage commercial aspects from procurement to final account on schemes from £200k to £5m, with a focus on education and commercial refurbishments, and you will work closely with site teams and clients to ensure profitable delivery.

Qualifications

• Solid Quantity Surveying experience within a main contractor or refurbishment contractor.
• Experience delivering refurbishment projects in education or commercial sectors.
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or construction discipline.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management from procurement through to final account.
• Subcontractor procurement, negotiation and appointment.
• Preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans.
• Valuations, variations and change management.
• Cost reporting and forecasting.
• Final account preparation and agreement.
