Job summary

The Glasgow Academy in Glasgow is seeking a Breakfast Support Worker to help start the school day in the Newlands Breakfast Club. You will create a warm, safe environment, help children have a healthy breakfast, support play and learning, and assist with escorting pupils to the Primary School at the end of the session.

The role requires enthusiasm, reliability and good teamwork; safeguarding and PVG checks apply, with term-time, part-time hours: 7:30am to 9:00am, Monday to Friday.

• Work collaboratively with Early Years colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
• Ensure the safety, welfare and happiness of all children in your care.
• Escort pupils safely to the Primary School at the end of the session.
• Help maintain a clean, organised and stimulating environment.
