Job summary

Bushbury Lane Academy invites applications for a Breakfast club assistant to help run a professional and caring service for our primary pupils. You will work under the Extended Services Lead to engage with children, set up activities, and greet parents with feedback on their child’s time at the club.

The role is 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time only, with opportunities to contribute to a thriving extended school provision and to develop skills in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young children.
• Basic understanding of child development and learning.
• Enthusiasm and dedication to caring and supporting pupil activities.

Responsibilities

• Set up activities for children to take part.
• Meet and greet parents and provide feedback on their child’s time at the club.
• Ensure children’s safety at all times under supervision.
