Job summary

West One Loans in Watford is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to own the end-to-end sales cycle within bridging finance. You will originate and develop relationships with mortgage intermediaries, introducers, and direct borrowers across your region.

You will manage deal flow, schedule face-to-face appointments, train partners on our products and lending policies, and represent the company at industry events and office sites as required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of bridging finance.
• Experience in wider specialist finance market is beneficial.
• Understanding of FCA and PRA regulation and TCF.

Responsibilities

• Originalate and develop relationships with mortgage intermediaries, introducers and direct borrowers within your region.
• Manage deal flow to maintain a strong sales pipeline for bridging finance.
• Book and manage your diary with a focus on face-to-face appointments and hitting targets.
• Respond to new business enquiries via phone and email and log in the CRM with excellent broker service.
• Train intermediary partners on products, criteria and lending policy.
• Use broker portal training to support partners.
• Comply with West One Loans policies and regulatory requirements.
• Attend industry events and office visits as required.
• Keep informed on market conditions and competitors for product feedback.
