Job summary

West One Loans is seeking an experienced Development Finance professional to originate opportunities, build robust relationships with developers and intermediaries, and take ownership of the lending portfolio. The role emphasizes strong commercial judgement, credit processes, and portfolio performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will originate and structure opportunities, oversee underwriting, and manage drawdowns and redemptions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in originating development finance opportunities with a portfolio of loans.
• Strong ability to manage relationships with developers, brokers and property professionals.
• Experience presenting credit papers to credit committees and senior management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced specialist lending environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Generate new development finance opportunities and manage existing relationships.
• Originate and structure development finance opportunities you generate.
• Lead underwriting and credit process for new development finance deals.
• Manage drawdowns and redemptions to ensure portfolio performance.
• Grow or manage a team to hit origination targets and support loan portfolios.
