Job summary

West One Loans is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to own and grow relationships with mortgage intermediaries, direct borrowers and professional introducers. You will manage deal flow, nurture a strong sales pipeline and achieve activity targets through face-to-face meetings and targeted calls.

Qualifications

• A strong knowledge of bridging finance.
• Experience in wider specialist finance market would be beneficial.
• Understanding of Treating Customers Fairly, Money Laundering, Data Protection, Responsible Lending, FCA & PRA regulation

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Head of Sales and regional team to originate and manage relationships with mortgage intermediaries, professional introducers and direct borrowers.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline for bridging finance and exceed targets.
• Book and manage diary with a focus on face-to-face appointments and activity targets.
• Respond to new business via phone and email and log activity in CRM.
• Develop understanding of products and lending criteria to train intermediary partners.
• Train partners on using the broker portal.
• Ensure compliance with TCF, AML, data protection and regulatory requirements.
• Attend industry events and office locations as required.
• Monitor competitor offerings and market conditions for internal feedback.
