Amey is hiring a permanent Structures Engineer to join our Consulting Structures Team in a hybrid role with a Birmingham base. You’ll produce technically sound solutions, own parts of projects, and guide junior staff while liaising with clients and suppliers.

• Proven ability to develop technically sound engineering solutions that meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Producing technically sound engineering solutions.
• Taking ownership and supporting management and technical delivery of projects from start to finish.
• Preparation of designs, calculations, drawings, and documentation for scheme deliverables.
• Guiding junior staff and contributing to their development.
• Liaising with clients and suppliers at peer level and attending progress meetings.
• Managing activities within a scheme project and team portfolio.
• Contributing to bids and business development activities.
• Driving health and safety practices within the team.
• Applying sustainability practices in engineering.
