Amey is offering an Industry Placement in Bridges and Civil Structures Engineering in Cardiff. The 12‑month placement provides hands‑on experience on high‑profile UK projects, with opportunities to learn from industry experts and contribute to investigations, design and asset management.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• An interest in bridges / civil structures.
• A commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on exciting projects across the UK and internationally.
• Assist in investigations, feasibility, concept and detailed design, and supervision of works.
• Contribute to structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Support bridge inspections, investigations and asset monitoring.
