Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Associate Director to lead the Bridge Engineering team in the UK, shaping the capability across the business. You will guide projects from feasibility to construction, manage client relationships and drive opportunities across a diverse portfolio of major infrastructure schemes.

You’ll work with Project Directors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions while developing people and contributing to the growth of Stantec’s bridge engineering

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered status with ICE or IStructE or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge of design standards, codes and industry guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership across bridge engineering projects and programmes.
• Lead the delivery of complex bridge design, assessment and inspection projects.
• Provide technical direction from feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
• Review and assure technical work, calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Mentor and develop engineers; support recruitment and resource planning.
