Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe in Manchester seeks a Project Bridge Engineer to contribute to the delivery, inspection and design of bridge and structural projects across the UK and Ireland. You will work on road, rail and footbridges, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Essential requirements include an 8th honours degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, at least 4 years' experience, and working towards Chartered status; Level 9 Masters and inspection experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in Bridges & Structures Engineering.
Working towards Chartered status (CEng, MIEI, MICE, MIStructE or equivalent).
Level 9 Masters in Civil / Structural Engineering (beneficial).
Experience in the inspection of bridges and structures (beneficial).

Responsibilities

Deliver bridge design packages from concept through to completion.
Contribute to inspections, assessments, rehabilitation and design of bridges and structures.
Support projects for major transport authorities, local authorities and contractors.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical matters clearly.
