Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland in Manchester is seeking a Bridge Engineering Lead to head design and integration on rail and highway projects. You will mentor engineers, graduates and apprentices while ensuring delivery against quality, time and budget.

The role requires a degree in engineering, progression toward Chartered status, and experience with CDM/CSM regulations. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, support work-winning activities and promote a culture of excellence within the engineering

Qualifications

• Degree in civil/structural engineering.
• IEng progression toward Chartered status.
• Experience with CDM/CSM Regulations.
• Experience with multi-discipline projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and integration on projects, delivering against quality, time and budget.
• Mentor Engineers, Designers, Graduates and Apprentices.
• Ensure project requirements are communicated to the team and met.
• Act as Work Package Manager on small to medium projects.
• Apply relevant standards and maintain safety and quality.
