Job summary

The HEINEKEN Company in Tadcaster is hiring a Technical Operator for our supply chain brewery operations on a 9-month fixed-term contract. You will run high-speed brewing lines, ensure product quality, and support lean production methods.

Key duties include operating automated systems, performing lab analyses, managing stock with SAP, and maintaining hygiene. You will collaborate across shifts to ensure smooth handovers and contribute to our TPM and zero-accident culture.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English.
• Good understanding of IT systems.
• Brewing experience preferred (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain high-speed brewing machinery and automated systems safely and efficiently.
• Conduct laboratory analysis at key process stages and ensure First Time Right (FTR) standards.
• Manage stock levels accurately using SAP and handle raw materials per recipe specifications.
• Set up and manage process pipework and routing equipment with high cleanliness standards.
• Identify root causes of deviations or equipment issues and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate across shift teams for smooth handovers and continuity of production.
• Contribute to Zero Accident Culture and drive TPM improvements.
