Job summary

A healthcare organization in Windsor is seeking a motivated Associate Practitioner to join the Breast Imaging team. This role involves supporting mammography examinations and ensuring efficient service delivery under supervision. You will initially be appointed as a Band 3 Associate Practitioner with full training provided, progressing to a Band 4 upon qualification. Qualifications

  • Experience in Healthcare or hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake radiographic procedures under supervision.
  • Assist the Radiologist in ensuring smooth operation of Ultrasound sessions.
  • Prepare sterile trolleys and assist with room preparation for special procedures.
  • Accurately carry out instructions from qualified radiological staff.
  • Assist with patient care during assessment clinics.
  • Prepare screening clinics for reporting.
  • Process images and paperwork from mobile van for reporting.
  • Undertake routine clerical procedures as necessary.
  • Ensure cleanliness of equipment and examination rooms.
  • Use NHSBSP computer system and other required systems.

Skills

Good written and verbal communication
Multi-disciplinary team working
Ability to work effectively in pressurized environment
Work independently or under supervision
Basic IT skills
Knowledge of clinical environment

Education

GCSE Grade A-C Maths and English
Grade 4 and above GSCE Maths and English
EHCP or legacy statement Level 3
NVQ level 3 or above in healthcare or equivalent
