Job summary

The Bath Priory is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our breakfast service and support evening shifts as needed. You will work with the F&B management team to motivate the front-of-house team and ensure memorable guest experiences from 07:00 to 15:30, with flexibility for occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage, ideally in supervisory or senior team role.
• Passion for delivering outstanding hospitality and making guests feel special.
• Confident supporting and motivating a team, leading by example.
• Excellent communication and a warm, approachable personality.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility during busy service.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and service standards.
• Willing to learn, develop and occasionally support evening operations.
• Attitude, personality and genuine passion for hospitality matter.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily breakfast operation, ensuring service runs smoothly and guests feel welcome.
• Explain menus confidently, answer questions and make recommendations.
• Train new colleagues and share knowledge to improve the team.
• Deliver thoughtful, personalised service and pay attention to details.
• Maintain high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and operations.
• Support occasional evening service and other F&B operations as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless guest experiences.
• Handle guest requests and adapt decisions independently when appropriate.
