Job summary

The Celtic Collection is hiring Breakfast Food & Beverage Associates for The Parkgate Hotel in Cardiff. Join our breakfast team to deliver warm, professional service as guests begin their day, with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.

The role is full-time, 37.5 hours weekly at £12.72 per hour plus benefits. Early morning shifts, weekends and bank holidays are required. Prior hospitality experience is welcome but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for outstanding customer service.
• Warm, friendly and welcoming personality.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence when interacting with guests.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a busy team.
• Availability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional breakfast service to hotel guests each morning.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere with warm greetings.
• Assist guests with menu choices, dietary requirements and allergen information.
• Maintain tables, service areas and dining spaces to high standards.
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues for a seamless guest experience.
• Support colleagues to maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.
• Help set up and prepare the restaurant ahead of service for a successful breakfast operation.
