Job summary

The Venues Collection at Eastwood Hall in Nottingham is looking for a Breakfast & Lunch Assistant to warmly welcome guests and support breakfast and lunch service. You’ll set up dining areas, replenish displays and help ensure high standards of food presentation throughout service.

No prior mastery is required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued. You’ll join a busy team with excellent benefits and opportunities to grow in hospitality.

Qualifications

• The role welcomes a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous hospitality, restaurant or food service experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with a friendly smile and making them feel at home.
• Supporting breakfast and lunch service with friendly, efficient, attentive service.
• Setting up dining areas, laying tables and ensuring everything is ready for guests.
• Replenishing buffet items and beverages to keep service looking fresh.
• Ensuring food and drinks are presented to high standards and assisting with allergen queries.
• Clearing tables and maintaining a clean dining area for the next guests.
• Assisting with the preparation of simple food items and beverages as needed.
• Monitoring stock levels and helping keep service running smoothly.
• Working with Kitchen, F&B and Events teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
