Job summary

The Venues Collection | Eastwood Hall, Nottingham is seeking a friendly Hospitality Assistant to join our team. You’ll deliver warm guest service, assist with meals, beverage service and event setup in a busy hospitality setting.

From greeting guests to setting up rooms and supporting kitchen and events teams, you’ll contribute to memorable experiences with positive energy and a can-do attitude. Prior food & beverage exposure is welcome, but the right attitude and willingness to learn matter

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with a friendly smile and making them feel at home.
• Providing great food and beverage service, taking orders and ensuring everything reaches the guest promptly.
• Talking guests through menus and making recommendations where appropriate.
• Setting up tables, restaurants, meeting rooms and event spaces ready for service.
• Making sure food and drinks look the part and meet our high standards.
• Preparing simple food items and beverages when needed, from coffees to salads.
• Handling payments accurately and ensuring guests have a smooth experience from start to finish.
• Keeping our restaurants, kitchens and service areas clean, tidy and ready for action.
• Supporting stock checks and letting the team know when supplies are running low.
• Working closely with our kitchen, Conference & Events and wider Food & Beverage teams to deliver fantastic service.
• Helping colleagues during busy periods and getting stuck in wherever you’re needed.
• Following our food safety, allergen management, health and safety and hygiene procedures.

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic HospitalityAssistant to join the team at Eastwood Hall!

From restaurant service and preparing delicious food and drinks to helping set up for meetings, events and functions, no two days need to be the same. You’ll be right at the heart of what makes our guests’ visits special, helping everything run smoothly and making sure everyone feels welcome.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. What matters most is having a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a passion for great service.

What you’ll be doing...
