voco Oxford Spires, part of the Intercontinental Hotels Group, invites a Breakfast Host/Hostess to join our busy hotel team in Oxford. You will manage restaurant table management and reservations to maximise efficiency and revenue, while delivering warm, first-rate guest service across the Deacons Restaurant and Deacon's Bar.

You'll bring 2 years' waiter or bartender experience, lead small teams, and be confident in handling guest queries and complaints.

Formación

• 2 years' experience as waiter or bartender in a busy restaurant/bar.
• Leadership experience with small teams.
• Knowledge of Micros Simphony POS and OpenTable Pro (TMS).
• Ability to articulate restaurant and bar revenue cycle and demand management.
• Experience handling guest queries and complaints.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a hotel team.

• 2 years' experience as a waiter or bartender in a busy restaurant and/or bar & experience leading small teams.
• Knowledge of both Micros Simphony (POS) and OpenTable Pro (TMS) an advantage, other POS and TMS essential.
• To be confident and show natural leadership capability. Hosts should be able to articulate a restaurant and bar revenue cycle especially focussed on how to manage and retain demand.
• Experience with handling guests queries and complaints
• To be willing to learn new things and work as part of a wide hotel team
