Motel One Germany BetriebsGmbH in Lewes is seeking a motivated Breakfast and Bar Assistant (Full-time) to join our team. This role covers breakfast prep, buffet management, kitchen porter tasks, table clearance and hosting guests.

You will handle cash and card payments, support bar service, and help with inventory while maintaining high hygiene and service standards. Flexibility, teamwork and a guest‑oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or hotel/catering experience.
• Open and communicative with hosting skills.
• Flexible and creative with a focus on quality.
• Team player willing to assist across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast items and warm food for the buffet.
• Refill the buffet according to daily demand.
• Assist with kitchen porter duties including cleaning and dishwashing.
• Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Provide hosting to guests and assist customers warmly.
• Handle cash and card payments accurately.
• Support bar service and maintain cleanliness.
• Open and close shifts according to procedures.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards during shifts.
