Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in hotel trade or experience in hotel/catering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast items and bake bakery products for the buffet.
• Refill the buffet according to daily demand and assist with kitchen porter duties.
• Clear and clean tables promptly and host guests with warmth.
• Handle cash and card payments accurately and efficiently.
• Support bar service including preparing drinks and maintaining cleanliness.
• Open and close shifts according to procedures and assist with inventory.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and versatile Breakfast and Bar Assistant (Full-time) to join our team. This is not a typical waiter/waitress role—our assistant performs a variety of all-round duties, including food preparation, buffet management, kitchen porter tasks, table clearance and cleaning, hosting guests, and supporting bar service. Flexibility and a willingness to cover all these areas are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast items, including baking bakery products and warm food daily for the buffet in the oven
• Refill the buffet according to daily demand
• Assist with kitchen porter duties including cleaning and dishwashing
• Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a tidy dining area
• Provide excellent hosting skills by greeting and assisting customers warmly
• Handle cash and credit card payments accurately and efficiently
• Support bar service including preparing drinks and maintaining cleanliness
• Open and close shifts according to operational procedures
• Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout your shift

Qualifications

• Have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have professional experience in the hotel / catering industry or be looking for a change of career
