Job summary

The Priors School is seeking a dedicated individual to assist with providing and supervising safe play for children aged relevant age, emphasizing health, safety and welfare. You will help set up equipment, support breakfast/tea service and promote healthy eating during sessions.

You will also help foster each child’s self-esteem, maintain good relations with parents and staff, follow the Behaviour Policy and attend training as requested.

Qualifications

• Desirable Level 3 qualification.
• Paediatric First Aid trained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising safe play activities indoors and outdoors.
• Set up and clear away equipment before and after sessions.
• Foster children’s self-image and mutual respect.
• Provide healthy breakfast/tea for children.
• Promote health topics such as nutrition and dental health.
• Maintain good relations between parents and staff.
• Ensure equality of opportunity for all children.
• Follow the school’s Behaviour Policy.
• Provide first aid if trained.
• Attend training as requested.
• Liaise with school staff as required.
• Carry out additional duties as required by Headteacher or Leadership Team.
