Job summary

Oxford Active Limited is seeking staff to support the Breakfast Club at West Oxford Primary School, Oxford, for mornings during term time. The role covers 7:30-9:00am on school days, with 1-3 days per week or occasional cover available.

Duties include organising breakfast, activity planning, safety checks and handover to classes. Applicants should have experience with primary-aged children, good communication, teamwork, and be willing to undertake safeguarding training.

Qualifications

• Experience or working with 3 – 11 year old children in a play environment
• Ability to communicate at all levels, particularly with children
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Willingness to undertake appropriate training is essential
• All staff need to pass strict safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS Disclosure

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team to devise and plan activities that will engage and challenge children attending the club

Job description

Location: Active Clubs at West Oxford Primary School, Ferry HInksey Road, Oxford, OX2 0BY
Pay: £12.16 - £14.24 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay
Hours: 7.30-9.00am on weekdays during school term time.
Roles available from 1-3 days a week, or just occasional cover work.

Job Purpose

You will be supported by our team at Head Office and the club team and we will offer training opportunities such as Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid.
