Job summary

Aughton Primary Academy is seeking a breakfast club assistant as part of a job share to support pupils aged 4–11 before the start of the school day. The role offers an out-of-hours provision and involves collaboration with staff, parents and carers to meet children’s needs.

The successful applicant will help maintain safety and behaviour standards, support pupils with inclusion, and follow safeguarding policies. Training will be provided for food preparation and service.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of pupils.
• Willingness to work as part of a job share and within a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils aged 4–11 in the breakfast club with high expectations of behaviour.
• Prepare and serve food; training will be provided.
• Meet individual needs and promote inclusion and welfare.
• Follow all school policies and procedures.
• Ensure premises are safe, secure and welcoming to all.
• Work with colleagues and parents to meet children’s needs.
