Job summary

Gateway Central Services at Woodcot Primary School in Gosport is hiring a Breakfast Club Assistant to provide a caring, secure environment for children aged 4–11, with supervision, first aid and safe play. You will help run activities and ensure safety and welfare in a welcoming, supportive setting.

The role is term-time only (39 weeks) with 3.75 hours per week across Monday to Wednesday, 7:30am–8:45am. The position pays £14.50 per hour, equating to an annual salary of £2,425.13.

3 x days a week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Gateway Central Services are seeking a Breakfast Club Assistant to join us at Woodcot Primary School.

You will be based in the school and assist in providing a caring, secure environment through individual attention and group activities to facilitate an appropriate range of leisure activities for children between the ages of 4-11.

Principle Responsibilities/duties:

As a Breakfast Club Assistant, you will supervise pupils in all areas of the club, giving care and first aid to children who are injured or unwell, ensuring play equipment is safe and clean and children play together in a structured and secure environment. As well as assisting in the preparation and serving of hot and cold snacks.

• Have previous experience of play work
