Job summary

Meldrum House Hotel in Oldmeldrum, Scotland, part of the Apex Hotels Group, is seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our brigade and showcase the very best of Scottish food and hospitality.

You’ll prepare hot breakfast items plated or buffet, cold breakfast items, brunch options, and nutritious staff lunches, while upholding food safety standards.

We offer training and development, 29 days holiday, discounts, pension contributions, and a friendly, fun team; sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as Breakfast Chef or Commis Chef level.
• Experience in a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Pride in their work and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast hot items plated or buffet for individuals and groups.
• Prepare and present cold breakfast items for display.
• Deliver brunch options within all areas of the business.
• Produce nutritious employee lunches to company standards.
• Support other brigade members to prepare items for service.
• Adhere to all food safety and health and safety guidelines.
