A lovely luxury venue just outside Peebles in the beautiful Scottish Borders is on the lookout for a motivated Breakfast Chef to join their kitchen team!

Breakfast Chef – £28,000 + Tips | 40 hrs p/w | Day Shifts Only
Location: Near Peebles

We’re looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our friendly kitchen team at our 14-bedroom boutique hotel. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys early starts and is passionate about producing high-quality breakfast and light daytime fare.

The Role:

£28,000 per annum + share of gratuities

40 hours per week (5 days out of 7)

Working hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm

Primarily responsible for breakfast service (max. 32 covers, typically 18–26)

Additional prep work includes cold larder and elements of our popular Afternoon Tea offering

Quiet lunch service, so this is a calm and well-paced kitchen environment

Previous experience in a similar breakfast or daytime chef role

A calm, organised and proactive approach

Someone who takes pride in presentation and quality

A team player happy to support across various prep duties
