Job summary

The Bull's Head Hotel, a flagship Young's pub in Chislehurst, is seeking a Breakfast Chef to join a busy kitchen team. You will start early at 6am, work hands-on with colleagues and help produce quality fresh breakfast dishes in a welcoming environment.

We value high standards, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills while communicating well with your kitchen and front-of-house colleagues. A positive, team-driven approach is essential.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a candidate who enjoys producing quality fresh food with passion and flair.
• Open to applicants from a Commis Chef or Kitchen Porter background seeking the next hospitality step.

Responsibilities

• Start shifts at 6am and work as part of a hands-on kitchen team.
• Maintain high standards and strong work ethic throughout breakfast service.
• Show willingness to learn new skills and communicate effectively with the team.
• Contribute to delivering top quality service with good planning and organisation.

The Bull's Head Hotel fantastic Victorian pub at the heart of Royal Parade in Chislehurst.
A venue that caters for your every need with four 3 public bars a restaurant and a beautiful ballroom that is available for hire!
It has 15 beautiful rooms upstairs in its boutique hotel as well as a huge garden adjacent.

What we look for in a Breakfast Chef:

We are looking for an existing Commis Chef, an excellent Kitchen Porter or an individual looking for their next step to their hospitality career, who consider themselves to have a passion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome. As the successful Commis Chef you will:

• Be able to start your shifts at 6am
• Be an active hands-on person with a passion to work hard as part of a team
• Have high standards and a great work ethic
• Show willingness to learn new skills; be an active team player with excellent communication skills
• Working alongside your kitchen team; you will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top quality service
• Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to complete day to day tasks
